Iran army names 8 members of taekwondo squad

August 12 – Iran's Armed Forces has introduced its 8taekwondo members in World Arms Taekwondo Competitions (CISM).

CISM Public Relations Committee reported that the technical squad of Iran's Armed Forces taekwondo team had named its 8 members in 8 weight classes; Mohammad Kazemi in -54Kg., Abolfazl Yaqoubi in -58Kg., Sina Bahrami in -63Kg., Reza Habibi in -68Kg., Ehsan Amini in -74Kg., Milad Beigi in -80Kg., Omid Amidi in -87Kg., and Kazem Qashqaei in +87Kg. classes will come to tatami for Iran's Armed Forces squad.

Alireza Hosseinalipour will serve as director and Morteza Soltani will lead the team as technical manager. Masoud Lashkari, Hossein Jan Ashourazadeh, and Ali Naimi (head coaches), and Ali Mehmandoust, Javad Fereidouni, Javad Eliasi, and Seyed Ali Mohammad Mousavi will also serve the team as coaches.

The 22nd World Arms Taekwondo Competetions will be hosted by Iran's Taekwondo House and will kick off Saturday August 16 and will be closed in Tuesday August 19.
